A young team that has been inventing, creating and releasing various Minecraft servers since high school.
After many successes and learning moments, we were looking for a new concept.
After a week of brainstorming, we came up with the idea of starting a Vanilla Minecraft Survival Server.
This is because we would like to bring back the nostalgia of our school holidays and share it with others. 

We started the first developments on the server in March 2023;
coming up with a name, claiming a domain and the first foot was stepped into the Minecraft world.
Soon we came to the conclusion that it was impossible to run a functioning Minecraft server on pure Vanilla. 
We then started looking together for solutions on how to keep the game as authentic as possible, and we succeeded. 
Being able to add a Claim plugin made it a lot more enjoyable for our first-time players to get started; no trouble from people coming onto our server with the wrong intentions.

We will celebrate our 1-year anniversary in March 2025, although we only officially opened in mid-December 2024. But we would like to include development in the entire process. 
We are very proud of the end result, we plan to keep the server running until 2035.
You heard that right, 10 full (IRL) years.


Even if no one plays at all for years,
Survival Blocks will still exist.


Why should you play on Survival Blocks?
Survival Blocks is and will remain 100% free.
We are also heavily anti-pay-to-win.
We make every effort to balance fun, fair gameplay with a way for players to support the server.
We are always open to feedback, this can be via Discord or email but also via chat to a staff member.
Please keep in mind that our staffmembers can't always know everything and will probably redirect you to Discord or mail.
This is because this way our developers and admins can better communicate with you to address the problem!

At the moment we only offer Vanilla Survival, this way you can play online with your friends and meet new people in our community.
There are also plans to add other survival games like Skyblock later, this way you will have all your survival games in one place, with one account in one community.
So you can spend hours together with your best friends playing the greatest game there is!

Additional plug-ins

We are very open about what happens to the server.

Hence, we also want to play open book with the different plug-ins we use. 


We have had a full vanilla minecraft survival server for 9 months from March 2023.

But after many negative experiences with building a community, we still decided to switch to Paper. This allows us to install plug-ins to improve the gaming experience.
