At Survival Blocks Community, we’re a place for creativity, collaboration, and building new worlds. But the principles that guide us in our virtual lives—respect, justice, and the protection of the innocent—are more important than ever in the real world. Today, we must speak out on an issue that has weighed heavily on our hearts: the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Palestine.

To be clear and unequivocal, our community stands in full solidarity with the Palestinian people. We believe in their right to live in peace, dignity, and freedom in their own land. For too long, they have endured immense suffering, and we cannot remain silent.

We must call things by their true names. The actions of the Israeli government and military against the Palestinian people, particularly in Gaza, are not self-defense. They are a genocidal campaign. We use this term because it is the only one that accurately describes the systematic and deliberate effort to destroy a people. We do not tolerate people and their leaders for committing genocide and killing innocent people.

The world has watched in horror as countless lives, including thousands of children, have been brutally taken. We have seen hospitals, schools, and homes—all places of safety—turned into rubble. The denial of food, water, and medicine is a tool of war, designed to inflict maximum suffering. These actions are a violation of every principle of humanity and international law.

This is not a conflict between two equal sides. This is an occupation and a campaign of violence by a powerful state against a dispossessed and defenseless population. The narrative of “conflict” is a falsehood meant to obscure the reality of what is happening.

Our community is about building, not destroying. It is about protecting the vulnerable, not harming them. We call on everyone to see this crisis for what it is: a brutal injustice. We stand with the Palestinian people in their struggle for liberation, justice, and the right to exist. We send our love and support to them and condemn the actions of the Israeli state and its leadership for their role in this horrific violence.

Let us use our voices and our platforms to advocate for a better world—a world where every human life is valued, where no one has to fear for their existence, and where justice ultimately prevails.

Free Palestine.
